The mellow flavour of banana benefits from a hint of spice in this smoothie. The drink provides a quick and easy energy boost for children and adults.
Ingredients
500ml of milk
2 banana
200ml of vanilla ice cream
1 tbsp of honey
1 dash of lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg, plus extra for dusting
Method
1. Peel and chop the banana. Add to a blender with the spices and a dash of lemon juice
2. Add the milk, frozen ice cream and honey and blend until smooth
Divide into glasses, sprinkle over a pinch of ground nutmeg and serve with a straw
